Bedside(Tele-) Advocacy
at Medical Facilities

We are your 'lifeline' at your most vulnerable

In the event that you or a loved one needs an inpatient level of care, you may feel as if the world has turned upside down. You're already ill or stressed enough... and may have no idea what's going on there. How can you ensure you receive the right care you (or your loved one) need and deserve? Whether it's in a hospital, rehab facility, or long-term nursing home, your advocate can make sure you receive the best care possible. We can also guide you toward the right path, as your status changes.

Patient in Hospital Room

This service would be for:

Anyone who is expecting a hospital stay wishes to ensure safety and quality of care.

Anyone in a medical facility with concerns or questions about the care they are receiving.

Family members of a patient who want to ensure their loved one receives proper medical care, or/and need adequate updates.

Depending on the circumstance, the service can be for a few hours to daily-basis.

  • Talk to the medical providers, gather status information and advocate for the best care possible.

  • (If onsite visit allowed) Be at the bedside, ensure safety, including all the medications given, and promote good communication among the providers.

  • (If onsite visit not possible) Monitor the situation and communicate with providers via devices.

  • Understand your needs and wishes, and communicate them to the providers.

  • Clarify treatment options and ensure you understand them.

  • Call for care/case conferences and update the family.

  • Make sure the right Advance Directive is in place.

  • Watch out for potential billing mishaps.

All the activities will be personalized based on the situation.
